what to expect

My practice is grounded in the methods of Integral Coaching®. This coaching methodology, based on Integral Theory, brings together science and soul by starting with theory and technique and then adding the key component of embodiment or “living the theory“.

An Integral Coaching® program with me consists of four phases.

Intake: Where would you like to go?

During this conversation I learn about your coaching topic, how you relate to that topic now, and what it would look and feel like for you to relate to it in a new way.

offer: Charting the path

The Offer conversation is when I present your personalised coaching program as well as your first coaching exercise.

cycles of development: Let’s hit the trail!

A Cycle of Development conversation, of which there can be many in a coaching program, looks back at your experience of the work you’ve done since the previous conversation and then looks forward to the next area of development.

completion: The summit celebration!

A conversation to review and recognise your accomplishments from throughout the coaching program. An opportunity to also identify how the capabilities you have developed can be further explored and even applied to other areas of desired growth in your life.


Logistics

The duration of a coaching engagement can be as brief as a single session or as long as a year.

During a coaching program, conversations typically happen every 2-3 weeks.

Each coaching conversation typically lasts between 60 and 90 minutes.

Coaching conversations most often take place via video chat (Zoom or similar) but can also be held in person.

The coaching program can be tailored to respect your current resource availability (time, energy, finances).


pricing

It is my desire to offer my services to those currently experiencing less financial abundance. I am always open to discussing a rate that meets your present circumstances.

My coaching is priced by the program.

A short program could include 6 conversations and 5 personalised coaching exercises. This would typically happen over a 3 month period of time. The financial commitment for this type of program would typically be $1350 CAD.

Programs lasting longer than the example above would be priced during the customised program design process. A great deal of a coaches’ work happens in the initial weeks of a new program. This translates into longer programs being more cost effective along with potentially being more impactful.

Let’s start with a free introductory conversation during which we can discuss how engaging in a coaching program with me could serve you in your growth and development.


When coaching is not for you…

Coaching is an excellent complement to many practices. However, it is important to prioritise specialised practitioners to address the following topics:

  • trauma and phobias
  • severe depression
  • chemical dependency
  • physical illness
  • severe anxiety

If you are looking, exclusively, for support with any of the above topics or in exploring, understanding, and healing the past root of these topics then I would recommend you work first with a licensed healthcare provider. Coaching can be something you add to your personal growth regimen in cooperation with those professionals or in the future.
